This face is usually accompanied by a quivering lip and real "crocodile tears." This week has had more than its share of tears. We moved James' crib from our bedroom into the office. He loves his crib and is excited to play in it, but it took a few days to adjust to sleeping in there. Here are a couple happier shots from the week.

The exersaucer was babysitting James as I was making dinner. As you can see, he was working on balancing. It was really fun to watch, and he knew it. Once he realized that this trick received a cheer, he did it over and over and over again - looking up of course to receive his applause.

This stuffed lion is a favorite of James'. He like that it is so soft and easy to grab. When we give him the lion, James will greet him with a smile then attack the lion with his mouth.

On an ordinary day in the Rhody household this swing will be used more than once. At least once to extend naptime, and at least once to calm an overtired James in the evening. What a lifesaver.
